The often-imitated hair dryer has a lot of copycats that dupe Dyson's signature look but skimp on quality. A good rule of thumb: Avoid the $40 Amazon knockoffs that copy Dyson's signature fuchsia and nickel design. I promise they won't perform the same, and you'll be lucky if they last six months. However, in recent years, a handful of competitors have released Dyson Supersonic alternatives that truly offer similar results.
Opens in a new window Credit: Dyson Dyson Supersonic hair dryer (with 3 attachments) $329.99 at DysonTo answer that question, I tested a bunch of hair dryers. Some look similar to the Supersonic, and some look nothing like it. I wanted to find the best alternatives to the Dyson Supersonic that replicate the experience: That is to say, they dry your hair in a way that feels quick, easy, and at least a little luxurious.
My top recommendation as of spring 2026? The Laifen Swift. Not only does it look like the real thing, but it utilizes ions to minimize damage and has a powerful 110,000 RPM high-speed motor. Plus, it's affordable, which is why it's held the top spot in this guide for more than a year.
SEE ALSO: I tested the best Dyson Airwrap dupes under $300: The Shark FlexStyle is no longer your only option What makes the Dyson Supersonic special? The Supersonic has stood the test of time because with it, Dyson reimagined the hair dryer. Instead of a bulky, loud dryer, the Supersonic is sleek and compact yet more powerful than other dryers on the market (and a little less loud, too).
Dyson is known for this futuristic aesthetic on its products, but the look of this dryer also has a function. The ring-shaped head ditches the vented and coiled model of the traditional hair dryer and houses the tiny V9 motor in the handle. The combination of the V9 motor and the Air Multiplier technology makes for a dryer that clocks in at only 1.8 pounds yet still delivers a powerful airflow that’s notably quieter than the roar of a traditional dryer. That extra strong airflow also makes this dryer less reliant on heat and keeps hair damage to a minimum.
SEE ALSO: All the best Dyson beauty dupes we've testedTo further mitigate any heat damage, the Supersonic also measures the air temperature up to 20 times per second and uses a built-in ionizer to minimize static and give hair a sleek finish, which brings us to a quick ionizer science lesson.
Ionizers are pretty common in higher-end air dryers. Why? They blow negative ions at wet hair to reduce static electricity by sealing the hair cuticle and taking down the power of that positive ionic charge (aka what's causing that annoying frizz). As negative ions make contact with hair, they're also dispersing the positive ions of water, therefore cutting down on your drying time and reducing damage in the process.
SEE ALSO: All the best skincare tech that we tested and loved, and some that we didn’tBasically, it's one of the reasons the Dyson Supersonic provides such quick and excellent results and why hair dryers with ionizers cost more money — they do more than simply dry hair.
Magnetic attachments designed to easily snap onto the blow dryer round out the futuristic feel of the Supersonic. Five are included: a styling concentrator, a flyaway attachment, a diffuser, a gentle air attachment, and a wide-tooth comb. It's a nice array of included nozzles, even for high-end dryers, which might typically include three or four attachments at the most.
Why is the Dyson Supersonic so expensive? At $519, the Supersonic is definitely an investment. However, you're paying for a high-end motor that's built to last, multiple heat settings to protect hair, an innovative design, and of course, the ionic tech. Other dryers from popular hot tool brands like T3, ghd, and Harry Josh boast some similar features and run you anywhere from $150 to $350, but none quite capture the magic of the Supersonic.
SEE ALSO: Honest review of Ruggable: Are the washable rugs worth the price? When I tested the Supersonic, I found that it had a luxe feel that stands out from other hair dryers. But don't forget: the Dyson Supersonic is now almost 10 years old.
Last year, Dyson released the updated Supersonic Nural (which you can find more info on in the FAQ section of this article), but it's not a drastically different product, with the main upgrade coming in the form of smart features, including improved temperature regulation and attachment detection. I tested it for a few weeks and found the upgrades nice, but by no means game-changing, especially for a $549 hair dryer. I also tested it against other smart hair dryers and found that the T3 Aire IQ offered the best intelligent features for the price point (more on that below, too).
Even with the original Supersonic being an older model, there is something to be said about it standing the test of time, and for providing a luxurious (yet efficient) drying experience, especially for folks with thick hair. On the other hand, Dyson competitors have had plenty of time to develop alternatives, all at a fraction of the price.
Recent testing updatesI'm in the process of testing newer hair dryers from Dreame, including the Dreame Miracle Pro.
The newest addition is the Supersonic Nural dupe, the T3 Aire IQ dryer, which I added in April 2025. Prior to that, I added the Dreame Gleam hair dryer, the Dreame Pocket, and the Shark SpeedStyle Pro Flex in November 2024. In the same month, I removed the Shark HyperAIR from my recommendations as it's largely been phased out from store shelves after Shark discontinued it. If you're still especially keen to get it, a version with just one attachment is available at Walmart.
I also replaced the BaBylissPRO with the Dreame Gleam as the best pick under $100 — though the BaByliss is still a solid hair dryer, it felt more like a standard blow dryer than a Supersonic dupe. Plus, it's less widely available these days.
In February 2025, I tested the L'Oréal Airlight Pro, which at $475 costs even more than the original Supersonic and almost as much as the Supersonic Nural. The Airlight Pro looked and functioned very similarly to the Zuvi Halo, which makes sense — the hair dryer was developed in partnership with Zuvi. At the time, I didn't include it as it wasn't that different than the Zuvi Halo, and cost significantly more. However, since then, the Zuvi Halo appears to be discontinued — it's been sold out for months on Zuvi's website after a drastic price hike to $634. I reached out to a representative from Zuvi to confirm the discontinuation, but didn't hear back. As a result, I've decided to remove the Zuvi Halo from our list of recommendations, and am reconsidering the inclusion of the Airlight Pro.
Finally, Dreame recently released the Dreame Pocket Ultra, an upgrade to one of our current recommendations, as well as the Dreame Miracle Pro, another Supersonic dupe contender. I'll be testing both for potential inclusion in this guide.
Fortnite developer Epic Games laid off over 1,000 employees on Wednesday, cutting a significant chunk of its workforce. In an open letter sent to employees, founder and CEO Tim Sweeney cited financial pressures on the popular multiplayer game as the reason for the layoffs.
SEE ALSO: Inflation comes to Fortnite: V-Bucks prices increase"The downturn in Fortnite engagement that started in 2025 means we're spending significantly more than we're making, and we have to make major cuts to keep the company funded," Sweeney wrote in Wednesday's open letter. "This layoff, together with over $500 million of identified cost savings in contracting, marketing, and closing some open roles puts us in a more stable place."
While Sweeney did not share Fortnite's exact engagement numbers, statistics trackers Fortnite.GG and ActivePlayer.io report that the game's player count has significantly slumped in recent months. For over two years Fortnite's average daily player count surpassed one million every month, reaching a peak of 3.1 million in December 2023. This number fell to approximately 835,000 last September, dropping its average below one million players per day for the first time since June 2023. Player numbers have remained lower than typical in the months since, now struggling to breach one million.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed. In his open letter, Sweeney stated that while the entire games industry is currently under strain, Epic Games is also facing specific challenges regarding Fortnite's return to mobile. Both Apple and Google removed Fortnite from their app stores in 2020 amidst antitrust disputes regarding in-game payments. In 2024, a new EU law forced Apple to reinstate Fortnite on iOS in Europe, with the app also eventually returning to U.S. iPhones in May 2025. Fortnite just made its global return to the Google Play store earlier this month, six years after initially being kicked off.
"Despite Fortnite remaining one of the most successful games in the world, we’ve had challenges delivering consistent Fortnite magic with every season; we're only in the early stages of returning to mobile and optimizing Fortnite for the world's billions of smartphones; and in being the industry's vanguard we have taken a lot of bullets in a battle which is only in the early days of paying off for ourselves and all developers," said Sweeney.
News of Epic Games' layoffs arrives just two weeks after the company raised prices for Fortnite's in-game currency V-Bucks, stating that the change was "to help pay the bills" after substantial increases in the costs of running the game.
Epic Games previously laid off around 830 employees at the end of 2023, or 16 percent of its workforce. At the time, Sweeney stated that there would be no more layoffs following this, and that the cuts would "financially stabilize the business." Sadly, this no longer seems to be the case.
This Tweet is currently unavailable. It might be loading or has been removed.Sweeney specifically noted that Epic Games' most recent layoffs have nothing to do with AI, indicating that it isn't using the tech to replace employees. Developers and players alike have expressed concern about artificial intelligence in the video game industry, with a recent report finding that one in five new games on Steam use generative AI. In January, publisher Ubisoft announced it is making "accelerated investments behind player-facing Generative AI" amidst ongoing layoffs, while NVIDIA received severe backlash last week for an AI-powered rendering model which players labelled an "AI slop filter."
"Since it's a thing now, I should note that the layoffs aren't related to AI," said Sweeney. "To the extent it improves productivity, we want to have as many awesome developers developing great content and tech as we can."
Still, it's likely cold comfort for all the developers who have been suddenly put out of a job this week. Laid off Epic Games employees will receive at least four months' base pay, as well as extended healthcare coverage.
The video game industry has been plagued with layoffs in recent years, with big publishers such as Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, PlayStation, and Xbox all making significant cuts as well. Unfortunately, it seems as though the mass layoffs won't be easing off any time soon.

Even the best value headphones will feel lacking if they don't come equipped with halfway decent noise cancellation. Besides, there are simply too many headphones on the market (our testing pool gets bigger by the month) for you to pay hundreds only to get subpar ANC. So, which brand comes out on top?
For most people, we think the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) offer the best overall value, with the ideal blend of comfort, sound quality, and ANC. However, if you're looking for the best active noise cancellation overall, we have to give it up to the Sony XM6 headphones. Fortunately, there are no bad choices here.
To help you wade through the top options from brands like Apple, Beats, Bose, Sony, and Sonos, Mashable editors and reviewers tested dozens of headphones and earbuds. From flagship models to budget buds, we picked out the best options at every price range.
SEE ALSO: How we test headphones and earbuds How do noise-cancelling headphones actually work?Even cheap headphones can block some noise from the outside world. And you can always blast your music loud enough to drown out nearby conversations and street noise via passive noise cancellation. However, if you really want to turn the volume of the world down to the limit, then you need headphones with active noise cancellation.
Active noise-cancelling headphones electronically cover up the sounds coming from your surroundings. They use internal microphones to listen to the world around you, then invert the noise and send it to the speakers. The idea is that both the output and the input will cancel out, leaving you with near-silence. The best over-ear headphones also create a tight seal around your ears, providing an extra layer of passive sound blocking.
Testing the Apple AirPods Max headphones, which didn't make the final cut for this guide. Credit: Zlata Ivleva / Mashable Getting up close and personal with Sony WH-1000XM5 noise-cancelling headphones. Credit: Molly Flores / MashableIf you've tried a pair of noise-cancelling headphones before and haven't been impressed, don't be discouraged, as not all ANC performs equally. For instance, cheaper ANC headphones may have a more noticeable hissing sound that you'll hear when the noise cancellation is turned on, which can be distracting for some folks.
Other headphones may be great at blocking low tones, but more prone to letting in high-pitched tones. Typically, premium headphones will yield better results all around, but we have budget picks below that still do a solid job.
In the past, not many wireless earbuds featured active noise cancellation that was comparable to over-ear headphones, but newer iterations like the AirPods Pro and Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds hold their own in the ANC space. However, even these earbuds can't quite get the same seal (or fit as many mics) that headphones can, so if you're looking for maximum silence, stick with over-ear headphones.
Recent testing updatesMarch 2026: We removed the Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds from this guide and added the Sony WF-1000XM6 as our new pick for the best noise-cancelling earbuds. The Bose QC Ultra 2 earbuds are now our most comfortable noise-cancelling earbuds pick.
December 2025: We removed the Dyson On-Trac headphones from this guide. While they had unbeatable battery life when they were first released, that's no longer the case.
December 2025: We added the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 as the best sports earbuds.
December 2025: We added the Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 headphones as the best splurge.
September 2025: We replaced the original Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds with the updated second-gen model.
July 2025: We added the new Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones.
February 2025: We added the EarFun Air Pro 4 earbuds as our favorite earbuds pick under $100, replacing the Beats Studio Buds+.
August 2024: With a heavy heart, we said goodbye to the Bose 700 headphones as our recommendation for the best noise-cancelling headphones with adjustable ANC.
Amazon's Big Spring Sale has been confirmed for its third year, running from March 25-31. The retailer is set to roll out wide-ranging discounts across multiple categories, with prices dropping on items like robot vacuums, TVs, and even daily essentials. And while they didn't come right out and say it, if there's one thing we can all but guarantee, it's that the sale will feature plenty of discounts on top Apple products.
Apple has had a busy month, with the launch of its first-ever budget MacBook, upgraded MacBook Airs and MacBook Pros, a new iPad Air, the iPhone 17e, and even AirPods Max 2. This means we could not only see first-time discounts on the new slate of products, but also new record-low prices on the previous generations during the Big Spring Sale. We'll be tracking prices leading up to and throughout the official event, so keep an eye on this page for the latest and greatest deals.
We’ve rounded up the best Apple deals you can shop right now.
Best Amazon Big Spring Sale AirPods deal Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple AirPods Pro 3 $199.99 at AmazonWe've always been fans of the AirPods Pro, but the third generation really takes them to new heights. Mashable's reviewer called them, "without a doubt, one of the best products of the year" in 2025. The latest premium buds feature outstanding noise cancellation (twice as good as the Pro 2s), a solid eight hours of battery life with ANC on, and new foam-infused tips that come in five sizes to find the perfect fit. Apple also brought the heart rate monitoring tech from the Powerbeats Pro 2 (our favorite earbuds for working out) and Fitness app compatibility to the Pro 3s, and introduced a live translation feature.
While we've seen the buds drop as low as $184 in the past, this discount is still worth grabbing.

Apple released its new MacBook Air with the M5 chip this month, but honestly, they're not a whole lot different than the M4 Airs. The main differences are the upgraded processor and a new wireless chip. You can save some money by grabbing the M4 model with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage, which is currently down to just $949 at Amazon. We're keeping our eyes on this laptop, as we expect to see it drop further as the sale nears. But make note that since it is now an older model, it could sell out fast.

The Apple Watch Series 11 offers significant battery improvements over its predecessor. For that reason alone, it's worth the upgrade. It also features a tougher build with durable glass that's twice as resistant to scratches, 5G capability for quicker connectivity, and a Sleep Score and hypertension tool that can flag chronic high blood pressure. It's not a major upgrade (is anything in 2026?), but as Mashable's reviewer put it: "Buy it for the battery life." Now $100 cheaper, it's an even better value.

Netflix has officially announced Bridgerton Season 5, and it looks like it's time for quiet pianist Francesca (Hannah Dodd) to get a second chance at love.
Based on When He Was Wicked, the sixth book in Julia Quinn's Regency romance series, Bridgerton's fifth season will focus on Lady Francesca Stirling (née Bridgerton). Francesca was tragically widowed during Season 4 after suddenly losing her beloved husband John (Victor Alli). Picking up two years later, pragmatic reasons have now pushed Francesca to search for a new spouse.
Meanwhile, John's cousin Michaela Stirling (Masali Baduza) has just returned to London. Michaela fled the city in the Season 4 finale despite Francesca's request that she stay as they both grieved. Now she's finally back, bringing an opportunity for her relationship with Francesca to evolve in ways neither of them expected.
Named Michael in Quinn's original novels, Michaela's character was changed from male to female for Netflix's adaptation. Bridgerton Season 5 will be the series' first season centred on a LGBTQ romance, with the series promising copious amounts of sapphic yearning.

While it's not technically part of Amazon's Big Spring Sale, Kobo is running a deal on its Kobo Libra Colour, marking it down $30.

It comes with 32GB of storage, adjustable warmth and brightness, and it's fully waterproof. Plus, it has writing capabilities and is compatible with the Kobo remote. The sun is shining past 6 p.m., flowers are beginning to bloom, and pollen is in the air. This all means spring is finally here, and Amazon is ready to celebrate in their customary fashion: with deals.
On March 16, the retailer officially announced the third annual Amazon Big Spring Sale. Deals will be live for an entire week, from March 25-31, keeping in line with the schedule from last year's sale.
Also, as in years past, the deals featured in this sale will reflect the spirit of the season: Camping and yard care supplies, cleaning items from disinfectant wipes to robot vacuums, spring fashion, and other household essentials will be the major featured deals. While that does mean less of an emphasis on tech than Amazon's other sales like Prime Day and Black Friday, we still anticipate a selection of worthwhile savings on devices. Last year's spring sale brought savings on Amazon's devices like Kindles, Apple deals on MacBooks and iPads, and markdowns on headphones and TVs.

Mashable's robot vacuum expert, Leah Stodart, deemed the Roborock Q10 S5+ the best quiet robot vacuum on the market, and ahead of the Big Spring Sale, it's down to a record-low price.
One of the major pros of this vacuum is that it frequently drops down in price to $379.99, but this price drop to under $280 is especially impressive. Stodart points to the LiDAR smart mapping performance, effective sonic mopping, small obstacle avoidance, and five-digit suction power as the standouts of this vacuum. Weighing in at just under 25 pounds, Anker's Solix C1000 Gen 2 portable power station makes an excellent camping companion. The power station can keep your devices juiced up and even has enough oomph to power up some cute fairy lights or whip up a quick meal in the air fryer. It also can recharge in under 50 minutes, which can really come in handy when you're off the grid. Mashable's reviewer called it "the perfect model for taking on a weekend camping trip or keeping around the house for occasional power outages."

Hisense's 2025 U7 TV combines mini LED backlighting with a 165Hz refresh rate and Dolby Atmos to pack a major punch with a not-so-major price tag. At least, now that it's considered a last-generation model. The 2026 version of the same TV (just unveiled on March 6) will run you $1,999.99 for the 75-inch model. If you opt for last year's version instead, it'll only cost you $897.96. Not only is that over 50% off, but it's about $100 cheaper than it was just last month for President's Day.

Amazon is running a huge sale from March 25-31. No, we're not talking about another Prime Day. We're talking about the Amazon Big Spring Sale.
This event might not carry quite the same weight as Prime Day, but it's still one of the biggest sales events on the shopping calendar. This spring-themed event is likely to go hard on outdoor equipment like drones and power stations, fitness gear, robot vacuums, and everything else that shoppers are looking to buy at this time of the year. That being said, you can still find record-low prices on Apple, TVs, Kindles, and all the other tech that dominates Prime Day and Black Friday.
We've lined up all the best deals already live in the Amazon Big Spring Sale. Keep scrolling for the full schedule of events and the latest live updates and news from the Mashable shopping team.
Save $31.99: Get the new Sony WF-1000XM6 earbuds for just $298 at Amazon, down $31.99 from their $329.99 list price. This deal, which is live as of March 25, saves you 10% total on the noise-cancelling earbuds.
Sony WF-1000XM6 $298 at AmazonAs a professional headphones reviewer, I make sure to keep a sharp eye out for any audio deals during events like Amazon's Big Spring Sale, especially for (ever-increasingly) expensive flagship models.
The sale runs from March 25 to 31, and while that may bring some temptation to wait for the best possible deals, Amazon's already dropped what I anticipate will be one of the best earbuds deals of the sale: the discount on the Sony WF-1000XM6 that brings them down to $298.
If you just rolled your eyes, I get it. Yes, it's only a $31.99 markdown, but it's worth zooming out. These earbuds dropped just last month on Feb. 12, and though the upgrades weren't revolutionary, they improved on what was already a really solid product in the XM5 earbuds. Honestly, it's not a given that a product this new gets any discount at all, so it's notable that the XM6 buds have dropped to their lowest price ever, and dipped under $300 for the first time.
SEE ALSO: The best Apple deals to shop from the Amazon Big Spring Sale — save on AirPods, iPads, and MacBooksIn my review of the earbuds, I determined that, as expensive as they are, Sony justifies the price point by bringing to the table the most well-rounded earbuds on the market. The noise cancellation is on par with that of Bose (the usual leader in the ANC space), the sound is the best I've personally heard on a pair of earbuds (and is only improved with the app's equalizer features), and the battery life runs for an impressive eight hours. And I say this as an ardent budget earbuds defender.
The only real feature of these earbuds that felt incongruent with their price point was that the touch controls took some getting used to — there's a smaller surface area for activating them, so there was somewhat of a learning curve to using them. That said, they felt less obviously flawed than the $299 Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2 earbuds, and emerged as the clear winner for anyone looking for the best premium earbuds available.
If you're not quite sold on them, you can also check out more discounted noise-cancelling and wireless earbuds available during Amazon's Big Spring Sale.
Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is nearly here, but if cleaner indoor air is already high on your shopping list, you do not need to wait for the official kickoff date of March 25 to 31 to start saving. A couple of standout air purifier deals are already live at Amazon, including one option built for extra-large rooms and another premium model that doubles as a heater and fan.
There’s also already early spring sale deals on Amazon Echos, budget TVs, and even robot vacuums. In the meantime, though, whether you are dealing with spring pollen, pet dander, smoke, or just want to freshen up a stuffy room before allergy season really ramps up, these early offers are already top contenders worth your time, considering, at the very least.
As of March 18, the Sharp FXJ80UW is the better pure value pick, while Dyson’s Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 makes more sense if you want an all-in-one appliance that can stay useful beyond spring — though there are also plenty of other offers from a wide variety of brands below as well.
At $299.99, this Sharp model is discounted by 40%, which chops a full $200 off its $499.99 list price. That is a serious drop for a purifier designed for extra-large spaces, with coverage of up to 2,430 square feet in one hour and an AHAM suggested room size of 502 square feet at 4.8 air changes per hour.
Sharp is giving you a lot for the money here, as the FXJ80UW pairs a washable pre-filter, activated carbon deodorizing filter, and True HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns and larger, while also adding Plasmacluster ion technology for more active air cleaning. It also works with the Sharp Air app and supports Alexa and Google Assistant, which makes it feel a lot more premium than its new under-$300 price would have you believe.
Even better, Sharp says its HEPA and carbon filters can last up to two years, depending on the environment, which could help soften long-term upkeep costs.
Best premium air purifier deal Opens in a new window Credit: Dyson Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 $499 at AmazonIf you want something more versatile, the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 is down to $499 from $659.99, saving you $160.99 — which price tracker camelcamelcamel also confirms is its lowest price ever. While this is more of a premium investment, it’s easier to justify when you remember this is not just an air purifier — but effectively a room heater and air conditioner, too.
The HP1 combines HEPA and activated carbon filtration with whole-room heating and fan cooling, so it can stay in use year-round instead of being dragged out only when allergy season hits. Dyson says it captures 99.97% of microscopic allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, while also removing 97% of odors such as cooking smells, pet odors, and smoke.
You also get app controls, voice compatibility, auto mode, night mode, and oscillation up to 350 degrees, which makes it a sleek option for shoppers who want cleaner air without adding yet another appliance to the room.

Amazon's Big Spring Sale is upon us. It officially kicks off on March 25 and runs through March 31 this year, but as always, many deals arrived early to the party. Specifically, some of Amazon's own devices already hit record lows that match Black Friday.
It only makes sense that Amazon would drop the biggest deals on its own devices, given that it's an Amazon sale, after all. While Echo devices, Fire TVs, and Blink cameras are already seeing steep discounts, Kindle, Fire tablet, and subscription deals are still semi scarce. We're excited to see what else the mega retailer has in store as the official sale launches.
We'll be tracking all of the best Amazon device deals throughout the Big Spring Sale 2026 below. Stay tuned for more to come.
Best Amazon subscription deal Opens in a new window Credit: Amazon Amazon Music Unlimited free for 3 months (save $11.99/month or 12.99/month) Get Deal Why we like itAmazon's major sales are always an excuse for the retailer to offer extended free trials or discounted prices for its membership subscriptions. While there may be a Kindle Unlimited and/or Audible trial deal during the Big Spring Sale, the only live subscription deal so far is on Amazon Music Unlimited. Through April 16, you can get three free months to test the waters. Beyond unlocking a massive music catalog that you can listen to on-demand and ad-free, you'll also get access to ad-free podcasts and one free audiobook per month. It auto-renews at $11.99 per month for Prime members and $12.99 per month for non-Prime members unless you cancel.
Best Amazon Big Spring Sale Echo deal Opens in a new window Credit: Amazon Amazon Echo Studio $189.99 at AmazonAmazon dropped four new Echo devices last fall specifically built for Alexa+, including the new super-powered Echo Studio smart speaker. This is technically the Studio's first update in six years, though it's a much different design than its predecessor. According to Amazon, you "can't find any smart speaker that sounds this amazing at this size." It packs Dolby Atmos and spatial audio into a Death Star-like orb that fits in the palm of your hand. It's even powerful enough to give your TV a boost. The speaker saw its first-ever discount during Black Friday, and that same discount is back for the Big Spring Sale.

Amazon's 4-Series Fire TVs aren't the most advanced in the brand's lineup, but they are the most popular. These TV models are for those who don't require a ton of bells and whistles. If you just want a decent looking TV that's great for streaming, the 55-inch 4-Series 4K Fire TV is an excellent value — especially now that it's back down to its best price ever. It was redesigned in 2025 to sport an ultra-slim bezel, a new quad-core processor for speedy navigation, and Alexa+. It also packs 4K UHD picture quality with support for HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Digital Sound, and Omnisense technology that wakes up the TV when you enter the room to show you artwork or your favorite comfort show.
Best Amazon Big Spring Sale Fire TV Stick deal Opens in a new window Credit: Amazon Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Select $17.99 at AmazonAmazon practically gave away the Fire TV Stick 4K Select during Black Friday season, so we're hoping to see a return of the $9.99 discount price during the Big Spring Sale. Even if we don't, its current discount price of $17.99 is still pretty dang great. It's the newest Fire TV Stick in Amazon's lineup and delivers 4K quality with HDR10+ support, the plug-and-play design you know and love, and a new operating system called Vega. It also offers support for Alexa+, Amazon Kids+, Amazon Luna, Xbox Game Pass, and NordVPN.

It’s almost springtime (regardless of what the weather might suggest), and Amazon’s Big Spring Sale will be here before we know it. This year, it’s running from March 25 to March 31 (the same dates as last year's sale), and shoppers can expect discounts on tons of products across just about every category.
SEE ALSO: I've tested 100+ sex toys. Here are the 15 most mind-blowing toys I've ever owned. One category you won’t see Amazon advertising, however, is sex toys. They’re literally not allowed to promote these items in their major sale pushes (I'm so done with the censorship), but that’s OK — because I know exactly where to look to find the best deals.
Wait, I thought buying sex toys on Amazon wasn’t a good idea?OK, so you all probably already know how I feel about buying sex toys on Amazon: it’s usually a bad idea. BUT, there are ways to get legit deals on premium sex tech without compromising on product safety or quality.
Here are a few quick pointers:
Never buy from sketchy third-party sellers (that’s where I come in!).
Always, always check for official brand storefronts to double-check product authenticity and warranty info.
Do NOT buy anything that’s made with “jelly” or “rubber.” Anything porous is a no-go.
Read the reviews! If a product has zero reviews or the reviews look suspiciously generic, move on.
When in doubt, buy directly from the manufacturer’s website.
The best Amazon Big Spring Sale sex toy deals you can buy right nowTo help you out, I went through hundreds of pages of products and hand-selected a list of high-quality sexual wellness items that are not only on sale but also safe for you to use.
Best overall Opens in a new window Credit: Satisfyer Satisfyer Pro 2 $48.40 at AmazonSatisfyer is famous for its suction toys and right now you can get the Satisfyer Pro 2 for just $48.40 (a 31% discount). This brand also leans into just about every holiday sale, so you’ll usually see its top vibes discounted during these promotional periods (especially Prime Day and Black Friday).
This toy looks like a face massager/cleaner, but it's actually a super-powerful suction toy designed to provide clitoral stimulation through non-contact pressure waves. (The company is pretty much known for its suction/airpulse tech.) This particular toy (which I own) has more than 61K reviews and a 3.9-star rating.
At under $50, it’s definitely worth considering if you’re into indirect clitoral stimulation. It’s also really easy to hold (which is always a plus).
Best budget pick plusOne vibrating bullet $8.99 at AmazonAs far as the best “deal” goes, you can’t go wrong with the plusOne vibrating bullet. PlusOne is a well-known (more affordable) sex toy brand that’s widely recognized for its no-frills toys. (I own a ton of plusOne toys.) They lack bells and whistles, but they’re reliable, and I haven’t had any complaints about the orgasm-inducing efficacy of their vibrators.
I chose the bullet vibe because it’s only $8.99. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better deal elsewhere. Plus, it has more than 7K reviews — one of which says, “For such a compact toy, it's surprisingly powerful and definitely worth having.” Can’t argue with that.

Best drone deal Opens in a new window Credit: DJI DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo $309 at AmazonFinding DJI drones in stock has been an issue since the brand faced an FCC ban late last year. However, not only is the DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo in stock at Amazon right now, it's down to a new record-low price. Instead of paying the list price of $449 for the combo drone package, it's down to $309 which is a major 31% discount.
The bundle includes the DJI Mini 4K drone, three batteries for a total of 93 minutes of flight time, a carrying case, the DJI RC-N1C remote controller, and plenty more accessories for getting you drone in the air and capturing content.
Best mic deal Opens in a new window Credit: DJI DJI Mic Mini (2 transmitters + 1 receiver) $59 at AmazonOver the last few years, the DJI Mic Mini has become the creator-approved mic. Mashable Lead Shopping Reporter Bethany Allard tested out the DJI Mic Mini to see if it lived up to hype and found that it is, indeed, a great asset. She wrote, "If you need any degree of portability with your mic setup, the DJI Mic Mini offers a lot of versatility, and for a great value. That makes it a solid option for making vlogs and TikToks, and for anyone who feels less than confident with their tech skills."
Before the Amazon sale kicks off, the DJI Mic Mini with two receivers and one transmitter is on sale for $59, marked down from the list price of $79. This sale price matches the record-low at Amazon.
In the Venn diagram of tablets and books, our favorite e-readers fall perfectly in the middle. They're thin and portable like a tablet, but without the distraction of the internet. The best Kindles and e-readers stuff thousands of books — a full library, really — into a tiny frame.
And having tested a lot of e-readers and tablets for Mashable, I can tell you the Amazon Kindle lineup comes closest to perfecting the devices. All over the internet, you'll find TikTok users enthusiastically singing the praises of the Kindle and how to make the most of it. For parents, Kindles are a screen you don't have to feel guilty about. For avid readers, Stuff Your Kindle Day and Libby let you cross every last item off your annual reading list. You can even buy Kindle accessories like remote page-turners and gooseneck stands so you don't have to hold your Kindle while reading.
Plus, we're in one of the best times to purchase a Kindle. Amazon's Big Spring Sale runs from March 25 to 31. Before the sale officially started, Amazon already marked down the Kindle Colorsoft, and we expect to see all Kindles discounted throughout the sale.
Which Kindle is right for you?If you're concerned about buying the newest tech, that's not an issue. There are six updated Kindle models for sale, as well as older editions still in stock.
Before you choose a Kindle, you need to ask one question first: Do you want it to be waterproof? If you prefer reading near a body of water — whether in the bath, by the pool, or at the beach — that immediately narrows down your options. Since the Kindle Oasis is no longer available, your waterproof options are the Kindle Paperwhite, Paperwhite Signature Edition, Colorsoft Signature Edition, and Paperwhite Kids.
The Kindle Paperwhite Signature edition settings screen. Credit: Stan Schroeder/MashableBeyond water resistance, here are a few other features to consider:
Display size: The basic Kindle has a 6-inch display, while the largest has a 10.2-inch display.
Storage capacity: Kindles range from 16GB to 32GB of storage capacity.
Battery life: The new Kindles generally have outstanding batteries. On the low end, they last up to six weeks per charge, while others last up to 12 weeks.
Writing capability: The Kindle Scribe is the only model that allows you to write with the included stylus.
The latest Kindles all boast a maximum brightness of 94 nits and a 300 ppi, high-resolution display with zero glare, so you can enjoy sharp text and images at any viewing angle. Kindles are also equipped with WiFi connectivity, allowing you to download all the reading material you could ever want. Plus, you can listen to audiobooks on Audible via the built-in Bluetooth connection.
Not to mention, out of all the e-readers I've tested, Kindles have the best compatibility with Libby. I love the digital platform because I can read for free and support my local library. Some other e-readers require you to download your library e-book to a computer and then upload it to an e-reader, but with Kindles, your e-books are sent straight to your device with a click.
And if you were a die-hard Kindle Oasis fan and are attached to page-turning buttons, you may need to stray from the Kindle line-up. Now, your best bet will be the Kobo Libra Colour.

We all know the drill by now. Amazon announces a giant, week-long shopping event (this time it’s the Big Spring Sale running from March 25 to March 31) and suddenly everyone is trying to justify buying another air fryer or a new TV (which, I mean, fair). But if you want to outsmart the algorithm and save money where it counts, you need to refrain from your wants and focus on your needs.
Which means the absolute smartest way to shop this sale: the boring stuff.
You know, the everyday, unsexy household essentials we are literally forced to buy anyway. Why pay full price for trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, or paper towels? You're just going to throw them in the garbage or flush them down the toilet eventually.
SEE ALSO: I'm trying the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai at home — one minute I'm cheering it on, the next I'm cursing it outAmazon is already dropping prices on a ton of these pantry and closet staples. Just a quick reminder: while anyone can shop the sale, Prime members are the ones who'll get those exclusive "Best Deals." So if you're borrowing an account, now's the time to log in.

We're gearing up for the first major Amazon sale of 2026. The Amazon Big Spring Sale kicks off on March 25, giving us the opportunity to shop the retailer's best spring deals through March 31. During a time when the price of simply breathing seems to get more expensive by the day, we're looking forward to shopping deals next week.
Amazon is notorious for offering a selection of classing deals during major sale events — sales that we see pop up every Prime Day sale. These include Amazon devices, Apple products, Ninja kitchen appliances, and plenty more.
The sale doesn't begin until March 25, but we're already seeing some nice discounts. Not everything we're hoping for is on sale quite yet (looking at you, LifeStraw). But if past sales trends hold true, we just need to be patient. In the meantime, Amazon has plenty of great classic deals on offer that are worthy of shopping ahead of the sale. Here are some of the best options to buy today.
Best Kindle deal Opens in a new window Credit: Amazon Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Bundle $202.97The standard Amazon Kindle Paperwhite with 16GB storage comes with a list price of $159.99 but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday in 2025, we saw that drop to $124.99. We hope to see that sale price again next week during the Amazon Big Spring Sale event, but in the meantime, Amazon has the Kindle Paperwhite Bundle on a discount. The Paperwhite (Mashable's favorite Kindle), a plant-based leather cover, and a power adapter is on sale for $202.97, marked down from the normal price of $222.97.
The Kindle Paperwhite is the perfect spring break accessory since it's lightweight enough to pack along and it's waterproof. Plus, a single charge can last for up to 12 weeks.
Best Bluetooth tracker deal Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple AirTag (1st Gen, 4 pack) $63 at AmazonApple AirTags are a staple feature during Amazon sales. Will we see the first-ever discount on the second generation AirTags? We'll have to wait on that one, but for now, you can snag a four-pack of first generation Apple AirTags for only $63. That's just one cent away from matching the lowest price we've ever seen at Amazon. At $63 for the bundle, each Apple Bluetooth tracker costs just $15.75. The timing for this deal couldn't be better since we're all-eyes on spring break and we're booking summer travel since airfare prices have no bounds these days.
It's that time again. The Amazon Big Spring Sale is back, and it's set to run from March 25 through March 31. You'll be able to score some serious savings across every conceivable category on the site, so it's time to lock in some of those must-have purchases that have been on your list.
One thing you'll definitely want to keep an eye out for is deep discounts across the Dyson brand, from sales on vacuums to air purifiers. There are already several early deals popping up ahead of the sale that you can shop before the madness.
While there are currently no savings opportunities on Dyson's hair tools and scant savings on its audio products, there are plenty of deals to be found on vacuums and more. That could likely change in the coming days as the sale begins, however.
Right now, we've gathered together the best Dyson deals we could find on Amazon. So if you can't wait, the good news is that you can shop these products right now ahead of the sale.

It even comes with pet tools for removing hair from upholstery and fabric as well as your car.

Plus, it gives you 40 minutes of runtime so if you have a larger area to clean, it won't run out of battery in the middle of your session. Even better, it can be converted into a handheld vacuum to get in those nooks and crannies or clean out your car, couch, or furniture.

Amazon saw the sun setting later, smelled flowers blooming, and felt warmer temps and decided to celebrate. The Amazon Big Spring Sale is slated to kick off tomorrow, March 25, with big discounts. That's proving to be great news if you're in the market for a portable power station.
A portable power station has become a must-have tech item. It's like your favorite noise-cancelling earbuds — no idea how we survived without them. A portable power station will be a savior during power outages, keeping the refrigerator running, phones charged up, and the WiFi router giving off a connection. A portable power station is also well worth packing along on upcoming camping trips. Think of movie nights under the stars thanks to a powered-up portable projector and with fresh popcorn.
The one snag here is that batteries aren't cheap, and that's especially true of high-tech and long-lasting batteries found in portable power stations. Because of this, shopping for a power station during major sales like the Amazon Big Spring Sale is a wise move. Here are some of our favorite models that are already seeing steep discounts before the sale officially begins.
