The European Union passed a new law early Thursday morning that will hold social media platforms like Meta and TikTok liable for financial fraud — a major escalation in the bloc’s attempt to rein in Big Tech.
After hours of late-night negotiations, EU lawmakers approved the measure, adding another layer of regulatory pressure on companies that have spent years lobbying Washington to counter the EU’s aggressive antitrust and content-moderation agenda. The law builds on the Digital Services Act (DSA) and Digital Markets Act (DMA), which curbs the spread of illegal content and prevent tech giants like Google, Amazon, and Meta from leveraging their dominance to expand across the internet.
SEE ALSO: U.S. trade court blocks President Trump's tariffs in surprise ruling. What happens now? (Updated)Violating either law can trigger massive fines, something the tech sector — and U.S. President Donald Trump — have repeatedly pushed back against. Trump has accused the EU of "discriminating" against American companies, framing the bloc’s enforcement as an attack on U.S. innovation.
Much of the final stretch of deliberations centered on who should shoulder the blame when these scams happen. Several MEPs argued that Big Tech and banks share equal responsibility, since platforms host the scams and banks process the money. However, European governments pushed back, arguing that banks should only be held accountable when their own safeguards fail.
The result is a compromise: banks will reimburse victims when a scammer impersonates the bank or when a financial transaction goes through without the customer’s consent, according to the EU release.
The new fraud-liability rules arrive as social media platforms have become the primary target for investment scams, impersonation schemes, and questionable ads of every kind. Under the law, platforms will now be required to compensate banks when a user is defrauded, and it’s clear the company failed to remove a reported scam.
One of the biggest advantages of being a beauty tech product tester is that I get to see firsthand if the latest multi-styler, hair dryer, or microcurrent device is worth the hype.
Combined with the experience of covering Black Friday deals for the past four years, I feel particularly well prepared to determine which beauty savings are actually worth picking up during the shopping holiday. Spoiler alert: not everything with a markdown is an exceptional deal. Plus, as someone with plenty of experience testing out the high-end products (aka basically Dyson's entire lineup) against the many dupes they inspire and seeing the latter perform well in many cases, I especially advise against adding something to your cart simply because it has the higher price tag or more recognizable brand name.
SEE ALSO: Everything to know about Black Friday 2025: Best early deals, sale dates, price matching, and moreWith that in mind, I've gathered the top six beauty deals from Black Friday that I've spotted so far. Find my recs (and some buying advice) below:
Dyson Supersonic NuralI'll be the first person to say that while the Supersonic is my favorite hair tool from Dyson, it's also probably overpriced for most people, especially with all the great dupes out there (more on that below). That said, it is a nice luxury upgrade. If you're determined to pick one up this Black Friday, skip the $379 standard Supersonic and spend the extra $20 to get the Supersonic Nural on sale for $379. It has better variation in the attachments, automatic temperature adjustment with some attachments, and a much better (and more unique) diffuser. If you're interested in the Nural but that sounds too expensive, you can also grab a refurbished one at Walmart for $199.99.
Opens in a new window Credit: Dyson Dyson Supersonic Nural $399 at AmazonTo be honest, I was slightly underwhelmed by the Airwrap when I first tested it out — the tech was cool, but not as easy to use as social media would have you believe. Plus, the curling barrels gave my hair more of a blown-out than truly curled look, and it fell by the end of the day. With the Dyson Airwrap i.d., the brand has addressed these issues. One of the curling barrels has a tapered design, which helped me achieve tighter, prettier, and longer-lasting curls. The other piece of the puzzle was the automatic temperature changing you can activate directly through the tool or via the Dyson app, which adjusts the heat as the hair wraps, holds around the barrel, and gets hit with the cool shot for a set amount of time. Though I anticipated it might feel gimmicky, it made styling feel way less effortful on my part.
The OG Airwrap used to go for $599 at full price, and the Airwrap i.d. is $649. However, this deal takes it down to $499.99, the same sale price found on the original Airwrap during shopping holidays (including this time around). This is still a hefty price, so if curling your hair is still a priority, I recommend checking out the T3 Aire 360 — the ceramic barrels help create and lock in curls.
Opens in a new window Credit: Dyson Dyson Airwrap i.d. $499.99 at AmazonThe Shark FlexStyle is the original Airwrap dupe, and still stands out as one of the best. The performance is similar enough to the Airwrap that it's what I tell my friends and family to buy when they ask whether or not they should buy a Dyson Airwrap. Multiple Mashable shopping reporters and editors have purchased the tool for themselves, and all of them sing its praises. The main difference between the Shark and the more expensive tool is that you won't get the fancy heat-adjusting cycle of the Airwrap i.d., and you have to switch out the curling barrel to change the direction of the curl. (Though as a tip, you can just flip the styler upside down to easily change the direction of the curl without changing the barrel.) For $199, it's by far the best value multi-styler. And if you want a more curated version, Shark is also offering the build-your-own model, which allows you to pick four attachments for $179.
Opens in a new window Credit: Shark Shark FlexStyle $199 at AmazonRemember what I said about Dyson Supersonic dupes being worth a look? Enter: the Laifen Swift SE, one of the best Dyson dupes I've tried. It's lightweight, powerful, relatively quiet (as far as hair dryers go), and hasn't crapped out on me after years of use. And at the sale price of $97.99, it's a fraction of the cost of the Supersonic. It comes with basic attachments that do the job well. You can also pick up an even cheaper model of the dryer, the Swift SE Lite, for $71.99. It's slightly less powerful, with a shiny plastic casing (as compared to the matte one found on the regular Swift, but if you blow-dry your hair less often or simply want a more bargain option, it's also a great choice.)
Opens in a new window Credit: Laifen Laifen Swift $97.99 at AmazonSadly, the Shark CryoGlow and FlexFusion bundle deal that cropped up ahead of Black Friday didn't manage to stay in stock, but you can still grab the Shark FacialPro Glow for $50 off. In her first impressions review of the device, Senior Shopping Reporter Leah Stodart wrote, "the Shark FacialPro Glow literally felt like it was pumping life back into my skin. It felt so soft and plump after just a single extraction session at night and a single de-puffing session the next morning, and even that feels like a testament to its effectiveness."
Shark FacialPro Glow $349 at AmazonI had the chance to test out T3's Curling Straightener when it launched earlier this year, and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed using it. As someone who primarily curls their hair with a regular straightening iron, I was skeptical that the rounded edges and cool tip would do much in the way of ease and styling results, but on both fronts T3's hot tool performed better than a standard straightener, adding more volume and versatility in how I could style my hair. As a newer product, it hasn't gone on sale often, and at $139.99, it's hit a new record-low price.
Opens in a new window Credit: T3 T3 Curling Straightener $139.99 at AmazonI’m not a "hardcore" gamer. I don’t spend eight hours a day online, and I’m definitely not competing in any tournaments. But I do play my PS5 every single day — usually for about 15 minutes right before dinner to decompress. Lately, I’ve been replaying the entire Tomb Raider trilogy (I’m on the third one now, and it holds up), but I also love the classics like Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, and Kingdom Hearts.

I’ve combed through the Black Friday ads from Best Buy, Amazon, Walmart, and PlayStation Direct to find the discounts that are actually worth it. Here are the best PS5 deals live right now.

I didn't know anything about Astro until my dad asked me if I'd "found the secret game in the PS5" yet. Once I found Astro's Playroom (the free game pre-installed on every console), I spent all night playing it and bought the full Astro Bot game as soon as it came out. It’s pure joy in game form — creative, colorful, and genuinely fun to play. (It won Game of the Year at the 2024 Game Awards.) My youngest nephew, Aubry, is obsessed with it; he literally has posters of the little bot in his room and begs to play it every time he comes over.
First-party Sony titles tend to hold their value, so seeing it drop this low is a win. You can grab it for $39.97 at Amazon, but if you want to save every penny, it's slightly cheaper at $39.59 at PlayStation Direct.

Best Black Friday PS5 accessory deal Opens in a new window Credit: PlayStation DualSense Edge Wireless Controller $169 at AmazonIf you’re looking for a "big gift" for the serious gamer in your life, the DualSense Edge is a solid option. I bought this controller for my eldest nephew, Landon, last Christmas, and he loved it. It’s the "pro" version of the standard controller, meaning it has customizable buttons, swappable stick modules (a lifesaver for stick drift), and adjustable triggers. It doesn't usually go on sale (unless it's Prime Day or holiday season), so saving $31 is a pretty good deal. You can grab it for $169 at Amazon, or for essentially the same price ($169.99) directly from PlayStation.
If you don’t need all the pro features, the standard DualSense Wireless Controller is also on sale for $54.99 at both Amazon and PlayStation. My mom bought the pink one for my sister last year, and it’s a perfect, practical gift for anyone who needs a spare.
Best Black Friday PS5 console deal PS5 Slim Disc Edition $449 at AmazonWe’re skipping the PS5 Pro this year — at $649 without a disc drive or stand, it’s a hard sell for anyone who isn't a hardcore pixel-peeper. Instead, I recommend getting the standard PS5 Slim Disc Edition. You'll get the same great library of games, 4K graphics, and lightning-fast load times, plus the ability to actually play discs (because sometimes you just want to pop in a Blu-ray or a used game you found cheap). It’s currently $449.99 at both Amazon and PlayStation Direct, saving you a cool $50.

But Mashable only recommends taking advantage of this deal if you're buying any of the five particular deals we find worthy at the Apple store, and none of those include an Apple Watch. Best Black Friday Apple Watch deal Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple Watch Series 11 (GPS, 42mm) $339 at AmazonThe Apple Watch Series 11 is on sale for $339 in the Amazon Black Friday sale. That's a full $60 off and the lowest-ever price for this model. In our review of the Apple Watch Series 11, Stan Schroeder said it "isn't all that different from last year's model, but it has a significantly longer battery life, and that's a huge deal."
Best Black Friday Apple Watch Ultra deal Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple Watch Ultra 2 (GPS + cellular, 49mm) $599 at AmazonNeed a rugged watch that can keep up with adventures? The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is a solid model, especially given its early Black Friday sale price of $599 at Amazon. That takes $200 off the usual price. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 comes with some upgrades that are great for outdoors, and it's perfect for fitness enthusiasts, with a lengthy battery life that you'll appreciate when you're out and about.
What about the Apple Watch Ultra 3? Sadly, the latest Apple Ultra is not on sale, but lucky for you, as long as you upgrade to watchOS 26, the Ultra 2 has 99% of the same features.

Apple has moved on to the Apple Watch SE 3 (which is also on sale), but that means you can snag great discounts on the previous model, and today is a solid case in point. But the older model is still great, offering tons of Apple Watch essentials like sleep tracking, fitness metrics, fall detection, and emergency SOS. Since this model is on sale for only $129, it could be a great gifting option or perfect for those new to the wonderful world of smartwatches.

As Mashable's tech editor, I get early access to a lot of really cool products. I also have a pretty deep knowledge of the coolest new gadgets of 2025, from the latest virtual reality tech to everyday fitness trackers and new Apple laptops. I've also been covering Black Friday sales since 2019, so I know what discounts to expect and which deals you can safely skip.
In this guide, you'll find all the best Black Friday tech deals I'd actually recommend to my friends and family. Before recommending a Samsung QLED TV or Anker charger, I'll first make sure that the price is actually a good deal. Online retailers are notorious for exaggerating their sales, but I've done the work for you to find the biggest genuine discounts at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and beyond.
Keep checking back as I add new discounts on the season's best new gadgets, toys, wearables, and tech gifts. I've personally tested many of the products in this guide, while others have been tested by other Mashable reporters. If you see a deal in this story, it's because I'd truly recommend that product — and at that price — to my loved ones.
My favorite KindleI literally collect rare books, so when I tell you I'm a book nerd, you can believe me. And this is the Kindle that stores my digital library — the Kindle Paperwhite. For Black Friday, it's on sale for $124.99, but I actually recommend paying a little more for the version without lockscreen ads. That way, you'll see gorgeous black-and-white photos on the lockscreen instead of ads for romantasy books I'll never read.

This is a true lifestyle smartwatch that also does double duty as a fitness and sleep tracker. Plus, it even has an always-on Retina OLED display. At Amazon, you can pick up this smartwatch for $199.99, a 20% discount ahead of the holiday shopping season.

However, the new version will set you back $449, which is a big ask in this economy. Meanwhile, the Gen 1 version on sale for $298 is still one of the best, most comfortable headphones in the world. While it's possible these headphones might get a bigger price drop come Nov. 28, don't count on it. I love these headphones, and this is easily one of the best Prime Day tech deals of the year so far.

Ahead of Black Friday, the only Kobo on sale is the Libra Colour, which is our favorite color e-reader. It's down to $199.99, back down to the low price it was during Black Friday 2024.

The best Black Friday deal on iPads is on the Apple iPad Air with M3 chip. It's back down to its lowest price ever of $449, making it an affordable yet powerful device. With the latest iPadOS, the iPad Air is closer to a laptop than ever, but still a fraction of the cost. This is another device I've personally tested and highly recommend, especially at this price.

Mashable's Christianna Silva just wore seven fitness trackers while training for the NYC marathon and determined that the Whoop MG was the best overall pick for marathon training. But even for the average Joe, it's a smart pickup, not to mention our favorite sleep tracker. During Black Friday, Whoop 5.0 and MG trackers are 17%, getting you up to $40 or $60 off.

The 45-inch LG Ultragear OLED's WQHD display features a steep 800R curvature and 21:9 aspect ratio, which means the screen will quite literally wrap the action around you. It packs a peak brightness up to 1,300 nits, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03ms response time, so gameplay is fast, smooth, and vibrant. It's also compatible with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync and offers plenty of ports for your gaming peripherals. Like the LG monitor, it also boasts a refresh rate of 240Hz and a response time of 0.03ms for smooth, lag-free gameplay, and compatibility with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync for tear-free visuals and low latency. It supports a range of aspect ratios between 24.5 inches and 27 inches, so you can select what works best for specific games. Depending on who you ask, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is either pure holiday magic or three hours of televised torment. Truly a choose-your-own-adventure situation that remains a deeply rooted part of Thanksgiving tradition regardless of where you land on the topic.
This year’s parade actually delivered some solid entertainment, especially if you’re an elder millennial. We got performances from Busta Rhymes, Lil Jon, and Shaggy — basically the soundtrack of every early-2000s house party. And for Gen Z and Gen Alpha, the parade threw in a K-pop Demon Hunter performance, so everyone got at least one moment to yell, "Oh my god, I know them!"
However, the thing that caught everyone by surprise was the appearance of Mr. Fantasy — KJ Apa’s chaotic, wig-wearing TikTok alter ego — materializing at the Macy’s Parade like a fever dream come to life.
Thus, it's been a great time for social media.

You've already found the perfect Black Friday deal for that iPhone, iPad, or MacBook Pro that you've been eyeballing. But, now you're going to need apps for your brand new toys from Apple.
Mashable has searched the App Store and third-party developer websites to find the very best app deals for Mac and iOS devices. We found that some of the most popular and lauded apps are having their biggest discounts ever.
Here are the best iOS and Mac app deals we found.

The app, by Cultured Code, has received rave reviews from outlets ranging from The New York Times' Wirecutter to MacStories and even won the Apple Design Award.
Things 3 is currently on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with a 30 percent discount on all of its apps.
One negative about Things 3 is that users have to buy the app for each device they intend to use it on, meaning you'll need to buy three different Things 3 if you want to use it across the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. However, unlike some of its competitors, users only need to pay for Things 3 once for each device. There's no subscription. Black Friday is the one time each year that Things 3 ever goes on sale and those savings can help soften that multi-app purchase blow.
Readers can buy Things 3 for Mac for $34.99 instead of $49.99, for iPhone for $6.99 instead of $9.99, and for iPad for $13.99 instead of $19.99 until Dec. 1.

I've spent hours upon hours combing through Best Buy's Black Friday deals, and I've identified just over 150 of them that are worth shopping. (By that I mean they aren't one-upped by better offers at other retailers.) Here's a quick look at the highlights:
Opens in a new window Credit: Hisense Hisense 55-inch S7 Series CanvasTV 4K QLED TV $649.99 at Best BuyBest Buy doesn't price-match competitors' deals during Black Friday, but it will price-match itself. If something you've bought there from Oct. 31 to Dec. 31 gets cheaper during that period, you can request to have your purchase adjusted to the better price through Jan. 15, 2026. The only items that aren't covered by this price-match guarantee are holiday decorations and products that come with a third-party contract (like smartphones).
For example, if you purchased a pair of Apple AirPods Max for $429.99 at Best Buy earlier this week, you should be able to take advantage of their new lower price of $399.99 (live as of Nov. 25).
What is Best Buy's return policy?Under its extended holiday return policy, Best Buy will accept returns for most items purchased from Oct. 31 to Dec. 31 through Jan. 15, 2026. That deadline stretches to Jan. 31 for paid My Best Buy members.
Similar exclusions apply here. Holiday decorations have a 15-day return window, for one. "Activatable" devices (meaning those that come with data plans) can only be returned within 14 days, and they have a $45 restocking fee if opened. Scooters, drones, digital cameras, action cameras, lenses, projectors, fitness recovery devices, cold tubs, saunas, and special-order products have a 15% restocking fee if they're unboxed.
When is Best Buy's Cyber Monday sale?Best Buy will kick off its Cyber Monday savings event on Sunday, Nov. 30, and it will run for 48 hours through Dec. 1 (aka actual Cyber Monday). The company's press release notes that "there will be limited-time deals available throughout the event," so expect a slightly different assortment than its Black Friday sale.
Is the LG C5 OLED TV deal as good as it seems?Serious deal hunters will notice a conspicuous absence from this guide: The award-winning LG C5 OLED TV, specifically the 65-inch model. A lot of our competitors are writing about Best Buy's Black Friday deal on it, and it's easy to see why. The retailer has it listed for $1,399.99, or $1,300 off its usual price. That's a really attractive discount on what's arguably the best TV ever made.
However, this deal isn't as good as it seems. Amazon is currently selling the same TV for $1,346.99 (or $53 less), and there's a good chance it'll return to its previous record-low price of $1,249.95 there on Black Friday proper. If you are going to buy it now, get it from Amazon. However, we think it's worth waiting to see if it gets even cheaper in the near future — or if Best Buy matches its rival's deal.
Opens in a new window Credit: LG LG 65-inch C5 Series OLED 4K TV $1,346.99 at AmazonThis has been a rough year for bank accounts overall, and streaming services aren't helping. Nearly every major streamer got more expensive in 2025, including Netflix, Peacock, HBO Max, Apple TV+, YouTube TV, Disney+, Hulu, and Paramount+. So needless to say, we're extra excited about this year's Black Friday streaming deals. We could all use some discounts, amirite?
Black Friday is famously the best time of year to sign up for streaming services, as you can typically score some serious savings on monthly or annual subscription fees. And we're pleased to report that this year is no different. If you're looking for a way to cut back on streaming costs for 2026, now's a great time to take advantage of majorly discounted subscriptions.
SEE ALSO: Unlock Peacock for free this Black Friday — here’s how to stream for freeApple TV+, HBO Max, Disney+, and Hulu have all already thrown their hats in the ring, as have tons of other streamers in the form of Prime Video add-ons. So you can start weighing all of your streaming options for the season. However, we're still waiting on Peacock to join in on the fun.
One thing to note: most Black Friday streaming deals are limited to new and returning subscribers (as in you haven't been a subscriber in at least a month or so). If you qualify, you can lock in some serious savings on streaming apps.
Check out all the best Black Friday streaming deals currently live — we'll be updating this list throughout the week with any other deals we think are worth it.
Best Black Friday streaming deal overall Opens in a new window Credit: HBO Max HBO Max $2.99/month for 12 months (save $8/month) Get Deal Why we like itIn a shocking turn of events, the HBO Max Black Friday deal in 2025 actually beats its streaming deal from 2024 and 2023. This year, new and returning subscribers can sign up for 12 months of HBO Max Basic with ads for $2.99 per month through Dec. 1. That's just $35.88 for the whole year and about 73% in savings. In 2023 and 2024, the streamer only offered this discounted price for six months. So, not only are you getting double the subscription length for a discount, but you're also saving even more after its recent price hike (up to $10.99/month from $9.99/month).
The Warner Bros. Discovery-owned streaming service is one of our favorites. Not only is it home to Warner Bros. films, but also new A24 theatrical releases, a ton of excellent original series (like The Last of Us, The Pitt, and IT: Welcome to Derry), and even live sports via the B/R Sports add-on.
Psst: If you don't want to deal with logging into another streaming service, this deal is also available in the form of a Prime Video or Hulu add-on.
Best Black Friday streaming bundle deal Opens in a new window Credit: Hulu / Disney+ Disney+ and Hulu (with ads) $4.99/month for 12 months (save $8/month) Get Deal Why we like itWhile we're pretty disappointed that Hulu didn't resurrect its 99 cents deal for 2025, this bundle deal almost makes up for it. Through Dec. 1, new and returning subscribers can score both Disney+ and Hulu with ads for just $4.99 per month for 12 months. Usually $12.99 per month for both, that's $8 per month in savings or $96 total. We saw the same bundle drop to only $2.99 during Black Friday 2024, but both streamers raised their prices this year, so the Black Friday deal has been appropriately adjusted for inflation. And considering each streamer is $11.99 per month on its own, this is an excellent deal. It's also a good way to lock in a solid price for the year since Disney and Hulu will eventually be merged into a single app — with a higher price tag, no doubt. And hey, maybe we'll still be surprised with the 99-cent Hulu Black Friday deal.
Best Black Friday Apple TV deal Opens in a new window Credit: Apple TV+ Apple TV+ $5.99/month for 6 months (save $42) Get Deal Why we like itApple TV+, just like several other streamers, raised its subscription cost by 30 percent a few months back — from $9.99 to $12.99 per month. So this deal, which knocks the price down to only $5.99 per month for half a year, is much appreciated. You can take advantage of this deal directly at Apple TV+ or in the form of a Prime Video add-on, meaning you need to be a Prime member or Prime Video subscriber.
Apple TV+ features a virtually all-original lineup filled with Emmy-winners like The Studio, Ted Lasso, Severance, and The Morning Show and Oscar-winners and nominees like CODA and Killers of the Flower Moon. TL;DR: You'll get more than your money's worth with this Black Friday deal.
Best Black Friday live TV streaming deal Opens in a new window Credit: Sling Sling Orange Day Pass $1Sling's Day Pass is a solid way to tune into live sports, events, and shows without having to splurge on a full subscription. The Orange package includes ESPN and all its affiliates, TNT, TBS, AMC, IFC, and more. That means you'll be able to tune into live college football rivalry games on ESPN this weekend — like Georgia Tech vs. Georgia on Friday and Vanderbilt vs. Tennessee and Alabama vs. Auburn on Saturday — for just a buck.
Best Black Friday music streaming deal Opens in a new window Credit: Spotify Spotify Premium Free for 4 months (save $11.99/month) Get Deal Why we like itIt's not uncommon to see Amazon offering its music streaming service, Amazon Music Unlimited, for free during shopping events (this year, you can get three free months). It is, however, quite rare for Spotify to offer its Premium service for free. Through Dec. 31, new subscribers can score four free months of Spotify Premium, no questions asked. Typically $11.99 per month, that saves you nearly $50 total.
With a Premium account, you can enjoy ad-free listening, collaborate with friends in real time, download music for offline listening, get full control over your music and playlists, unlock 15 hours per month of audiobook time, and finally enjoy lossless audio. You'll also gain access to the famous Wrapped stats and new weekly listening stats.

Google Maps’ Gemini-powered navigation is officially rolling out more broadly, marking the next step in the overhaul Google first teased earlier this month. When Mashable first covered the update, we noted Google’s push toward a "more conversational and intuitive" navigation experience built on Gemini, including landmark-based directions and the ability to ask complex, multi-step questions.
SEE ALSO: Google Gemini 3 vs ChatGPT: How they compareAccording to 9to5Google, the feature is now beginning to appear for users across all navigation modes — not just driving. That means walking, cycling, and public transit directions also benefit from Gemini’s upgraded voice controls and contextual assistance. The outlet also reports that the traditional four-color microphone icon has officially been replaced with the Gemini spark — another indication that Google Assistant is nearing its death date.
In practice, this means that you can now ask your phone anything you would normally ask it, directly through Maps while navigating. The rollout includes all the conversational queries originally highlighted in Google’s blog post — like finding “a budget-friendly restaurant with vegan options along my route” or asking "what’s parking like there?" — but 9to5Google notes that users can also issue practical commands such as "add stop," "avoid tolls," or "show alternative routes." The assistant can even handle general tasks, such as calling contacts, sending texts, or checking your next meeting.
Google’s official support page confirms this expanded scope, explaining that users can "get info and get things done with Gemini while you drive, walk, or ride," activated either via the hotword or the microphone icon.
SAVE $64.71: As of Nov. 27, the Magic: The Gathering — Marvel’s Spider-Man Play Booster Box (30 packs) is $144.99 at Amazon, down from a list price of $209.70. That’s a Black Friday saving of around $65 on a full booster display.
Opens in a new window Credit: Wizards of the Coast Magic: The Gathering | Marvel's Spider-Man Play Booster Box (30 Packs) $144.99 at AmazonThis discount not only makes this Magic: The Gathering Spider-Man set in line with market value, but also undercuts other marketplaces like TCGPlayer, which is selling the same box for around $160 plus postage.
Universes Beyond has quietly helped solve Magic’s long-running headaches: it makes the game less intimidating for newcomers with its TCG twist on familiar Marvel characters, and now, deals like this lower the game’s barrier to entry. Licensed sets like Marvel’s Spider-Man give comic fans a clear on-ramp into the world’s biggest trading card game, even if they’ve never cast a fireball in their life.

Thanks for signing up!This Black Friday discount on the 30-pack Play Booster Box is basically a shortcut into the Spider-Verse for anyone who wants to draft with friends, juice up their Commander decks, or just crack a ton of web-slinging packs without paying launch-week prices.
As is usually the case with MTG Play Booster Boxes like these, you’re getting 30 Play Boosters, each with 14 cards and at least one rare or mythic rare, plus a foil card in every pack — which is exactly what you want out of a big sealed box: plenty of shots at the coolest cards and enough cardboard to fuel multiple draft nights.
SEE ALSO: 100+ Black Friday deals: We found record-low prices on AirPods, MacBooks, Samsung TVs, Kindles, and NinjaAlong with other popular crossover MTG sets, like the Final Fantasy expansion, the Spider-Man set has often received praise for its fun comic-book art and the way its characters have been incorporated into the series. There are some stunning chase cards to pull — though, as always, results vary depending on luck.
Mechanically, this set leans hard into its theme: aggressive Spider-folk, villains like Venom and Green Goblin, and new tricks like Mayhem and Web-style interaction that reward you for swinging in and keeping pressure on.
Whether you’re building a Spiders-matter Commander deck, brewing a casual 60-card brawler, or just adding on-theme cards to existing piles, 30 packs give you a serious sample of what the set can do.
While buying singles is usually the most reliable path to the priciest chase cards, those increasingly high price tags make hunting them through booster boxes like these the best option.
Here are the top five most valuable chase cards you can pull in the Spider-Man Magic: The Gathering set right now:

As Black Friday rolls on, there are so many great deals at Amazon that its hard to keep up. There's everything from the very big, such as 65-inch TVs, to the very small, such as Bluetooth trackers. But what's a Bluetooth tracker? If you've never used one before, it could be game changer. Particularly if you’re one of those people who’s forever losing their keys, phone, wallet, bag, and other valuables.
SEE ALSO: The 17 best Advent calendars to buy in November. Take advantage of early Black Friday sales. The basic idea is that you attach one of these trackers to your belongings. The tracker connects to an app and if you lose that item, you can find it by following the app or prompting the tracker to emit a ring. More expensive trackers may also have more advanced technology to make finding lost items even easier. The gold standard is the Apple AirTag, which you’ll find below, but there are other models that work specifically with iOS, Android, or both. Here’s a selection of the best Bluetooth trackers deals in the Black Friday sale.
Best Black Friday Apple tracker deal Opens in a new window Credit: Apple Apple AirTag $17.97 at AmazonPerfect for iPhone users and Apple fans in general, the Apple AirTag syncs with the Find My app and uses Ultra Wideband technology for precise locations. It makes a noise to alert you as you search for lost items, and you can share its location with up to five people. There’s also a lost mode that will alert you when the tag is detected by the wider Find My network. It’s not compatible with Android, so this one's for Apple users only.
Best Black Friday Tile tracker deal Opens in a new window Credit: Tile Tile by Life360 Mate $39.99 at AmazonAside from Apple, Tile Mate is the big name in Bluetooth tracker technology. The real benefit of this set — other than getting four trackers in one pack — is the fact they’re compatible with both iOS and Android. Other features include a discrete SOS alarm, allowing you to notify people if you feel unsafe, and the ability to make a lost phone ring — even when switched to silent. There’s a more colourful version available which costs more, but they're also discounted in the Black Friday deals.
Best Black Friday Eufy tracker deal Opens in a new window Credit: Eufy Eufy Security SmartTrack Card $23.99 at AmazonThe Eufy Security SmartTrack Card is shaped like a credit card for a reason — it’s designed to slip into your wallet and ensure you never lose that wallet ever again. Though it will just as easily slip into the back of a smartphone case, passport cover, or in your bag. It’s iOS only, which isn’t much good for Android users, but that does mean it works with Apple’s Find My app.
